Eumetcal Steering Group meeting at KNMI, de Bilt, the Netherlands
(17 April 2011) Eumetcal Steering Group had its 16th meeting at KNMI, de Bilt, the Netherlands, on 14 and 15 April.
The Steering Group discussed about cooperation activities with the other training organizations, about EUMETNET Forecasting strategy and the status of the Roadmap Drafting team work. The Steering Group was satisfied with the progress of the strategy planning. Mr Arie Kattenberg from KNMI visited the meeting. He presented the status of Climate Capability Area roadmap planning, and the potential areas where training collaboration with Eumetcal might take place.
In addition, UK Met Office College was also represented in the meeting. Aileen Semple gave a presentation on UK Met Office College current activities.
Eumetcal Steering Group also reviewed the status of recent, current and future training courses.
