Eumetcal High Impact Weather Group presentation at EUMeTrain Convection Week

Eumetcal High Impact Weather Group presented a case study at EUMeTrain Convection Week 2011 session 7 on Thursday 9 June.
This session gathered the biggest audience during the convection week, 80 enrollments and up to 300 people listening to the online presentation by Heleen, Kornel and Izolda. The case study was about a convective event that moved across the whole eastern part of Europe, from Balkans to Finland, between 5 and 9 August, 2010. Heleen made the general introduction and summary olf the event, Kornel presented the first two days of the event when the system was in southeastern parts of Europe, and Izolda completed the presentation with description of the event 6-9 August over Poland, the Baltic States and Finland.
