Eumetcal Programme Manager will change 1 January 2012. The Programme
Manager task will be taken over by Mr. Tero Siili from FMI Human Resources Development. Teroâ€™s background is in atmospheric sciences research (Ph.D.) with primary research topics on planetary atmospheres. He has experience in management of training and education programmes as well as experience in working in European and international contexts from participations in several European and international space missions since 1988.

Currently Tero is a Training Officer within FMI Personnel Development Group and a Project Manager of FMIâ€™s two-year continued education and training programme for operational meteorologists.

Current PM Vesa Nietosvaara will move to EUMETSAT as of 1 February 2012 and continue his training activities as a Training Officer within EUMETSAT User Service.
