How to Book Eumetclass

To avoid overlapping meetings, the members are requested to book the meeting room in advance:

Check meeting room availability and book your meeting here

1) Make sure the virtual room is available for the time you are planning to schedule your event.

2) Click on the left "List of Objects" -> "Web conference" -> "Elluminate", choose month, year and date: the booking form will open on the right hand.

3) Insert "Begin time" in UTC, "Duration", "YOUR email address" and "Title" of the event (eventually some comments).

4) Click on "Submit the reservation request" and you’re done!

5) You will receive an email with the booking details and the password for eventually cancel the reservation.

Instruction on how to access the virtual room EumetClass

 Perform the system check (step 1 and step 2, headset needed!)) - You are suggested to perform the system check every time before attending an online event.

In case you need help or face problem in the System Check, the document "EumetClass System Check" will help you through the System Check.

 After you are done with the system check, point your browser to the following URL: www.tinyurl.com/eumetclass.

 Insert your screen name and press "login". The Elluminate client will start on your PC and you will be shortly brought into the EumetClass virtual room.

CONGRATULATIONS, you are now ready to follow online sessions delivered with EumetClass!

 An important routine of moderators is the uploading of content in the virtual room space, usually presentations, to share with other participants. In the following some hints and guidance in order to make the best of it.

2) Read carefully the attached quick guide about the import options of PPTs in the whiteboard.
