Material from the most recent 2006 ECMWF Meteorological Training Programme modules:

Data Assimilation and use of satellite data
Numerical methods and adiabatic formulation of models
Parameterization of diabatic processes
Predictability, diagnostics and seasonal forecasting

has been added to the library. This contribution from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts provides a wealth of numercial training material directly applicable to other fields.

The material is mainly in the format of PowerPoint presentations given on location by various international experts working at ECMWF. The additional material is roughly 100 learning objects.
