This is the Eumetcal "Forecasters Meet Aviation Users" Course 2011 workspace.

This platform is reserved to the Task Team of the Avia working group, whose main tasks are: planning the structure and format of the forthcoming aviation Weather course and make a reference collection of existing available material for aviation weather training.

The Aviation Meteorology 2008 Course for experienced forecasters is the second Eumetcal structured learning course in Aviation Meteorology.

This course is composed of nine Distance Learning sessions, held from 1 September to 7 November 2008. The Distance Learning sessions use a web conference tool, Centra).

The Advanced Aviation blended learning course for experienced forecasters is the first Eumetcal structured learning course. This course is divided into two entities: a seven-week distance learning period with weekly online sessions and a 5-day classroom session in Toulouse, France from 26 to 30 March 2007.

The course is delivered in English by Météo-France. The course fee is €800 and does not contain accomodation or meals. This platform is the main source for course resources and discussion.
