Verification of continuous variables

To know which verification scores are used for continuous variables

To be able to interpret the results of verification of continuous variables

This module is intended to be used by either: 1. A student who is presented with the results of forecast verification, and wishes to understand what they mean, or 2. A student who is seeking a method to verify his own forecasts. For example, if the student is shown the root mean square error for three months of his temperature forecasts, he could go directly to the unit of study of the root mean square error to help him/her interpret the result. Or, if a student wishes to select a method to verify his temperature forecasts, he should have all the knowledge he needs to make a wise choice if he completes the whole module.
