To be able to select and apply the appropriate verification measure(s) for measuring the quality of categorical forecasts
This module covers verification methods that apply to categorical forecasts of categorical variables,
as described in the introductory module.
The student may use this module either to determine how to verify such forecasts,
or how to interpret the results of verification carried out by others on categorical forecasts of categorical variables.
If the verification problem is two-category (dichotomous), then the last unit can be omitted.
