Aviation Meteorology Work Space
This is a space for the working group on aviation meteorology to exchange ideas and develop the training resources connected to aviation meteorology.
Hydrology Working Group on Training
This is the homepage of the Eumetcal Working Group on Hydrology, aimed for the development and assessment of shared training resources between the meteorological and hydrological communities.
NWP Working Group

NWP Working Group

The main goals of this working group are to:

- identify needs for NWP training,

- organize training courses in NWP,

- seek for ways to increase the communication between research scientists, NWP developers and forecasting meteorologists.

ACTIONS:

1) NWP WG's first task is to send out a questionnaire on the NWP training and networking needs. Questionnaire has been sent out on 8 February 2008, deadline for submissions i 7 March 2008.

2) On March, 12 an online meeting with NWP WG members has been planned. Agenda to be published by the end of February.

3) NWP course syllabus development based on the questionnaire and other discussions during March-July.

4) NWP WG meeting at Meteo-France, Toulouse, France, 25 August prior to Eumetcal Workshop 26-28 August.
Radar Meteorology Module Development
This area is restricted to Radar Module developers and contains information on the group and the files and developments taken. This Module is a co-operation between meteorological services and institutes of Australia (BoM), Canada (MSC), Croatia (DHMZ), Finland (FMI), Germany (DWD), Portugal (IMP), Romania (RNMA) and Spain (GRAHI).
Severe Weather Training WG
This "course" is the working space of the Eumetcal Working Group on Severe Weather and training.
Technical WG Playground
This is the sandbox / playground for the propellerheads of the Eumetcal working group on technical solutions for education and training.
Verification module development
This Working group is dedicated to the development of the Verification module currently underway. The participants of this development are FMI and the NMS of Canada.
