Eumetcal SCENARI Workshop 2010
Do not miss the opportunity to learn the basics of SCENARI, the new Eumetcal tool for realizing e-learning modules. Eumetcal offers you expert instructors and an efficient learning environment to let you move the first steps.
The Eumetcal SCENARI workshop will take place 13-15 October 2010. The course will be the first offered by Eumetcal on this topic and will be run in the Deutscher Wetterdienst (DWD) training facilities in Langen, Germany (20 km south of Frankfurt).
What SCENARI actually is
SCENARI is an authoring tool for creating e-learning material, which has been recently adopted by Eumetcal with the intention of spreading its use within the meteorological community.
Eumetcal has implemented and customized SCENARI suite especially for creating e- and distance learning modules related to environmental sciences (meteorology, oceanography, climatology, etc.).

Fees and support
For Eumetcal members there is no fee for participating to the workshop. Moreover, the selected participants from the Eumetcal member states will be partly supported by the Eumetcal Programme (flight tickets – reasonable price possibly below 300 EUR - and accommodation at DWD Guest House).
